KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (Motac) has proposed to the National Security Council (NSC) to open Langkawi to tourists from several selected countries under the ongoing pilot tourism bubble project.

PUTRAJAYA, Oct 5 — Most tourists to Langkawi tend to book their own travel, accommodation and tour arrangements, according to monitoring and a survey by the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry (Motac).

MERSING, Sept 12 — All the tourism industry players and residents of Mersing Islands who have completed their vaccination against Covid-19 are now ready to receive tourists if these islands are open  to visitors under the tourism bubble programme.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 —  The Health Ministry (MOH) has reminded those intending to visit Langkawi Island under the tourism bubble pilot project to always practise the new normal and continue to adhere to the standard operating procedure (SOP).

PUTRAJAYA, Aug 15 — The Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry (Motac) is planning to implement the tourism bubble approach in the country's major tourist destinations other than Langkawi, said its Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.
